Beaches
We spent last week at Gulf Shores with Mike's family. This was Bella's first time seeing the ocean. Her two new words for the week were "golf cart" and "hot tub". She actually thought the hot tub was the baby pool.
We drove taking two days each way, so Bella added a few states to her list of where she has been. We decided to take the scenic route back, so I got to add a new state as well (Louisiana). That brings our totals to roughly: Mike- 38; Shayna- 35; Bella- 14. We actually drove into New Orleans, but it was raining really hard so we didn't get out of the car.
We have a lot of pictures from the trip. :) So I'll probably post a few times because there are so many good ones.

Chicken Pox!
Yes, Bella has chicken pox! It is a very light case because she did receive the vaccination in March.
I had been struggling for about a week since the spots appeared with whether or not I should take her in to the doctor. This is my constant struggle. I don't want to be running to the dr for every little thing. On the other hand, it always turns out it was something I should have brought her in for. With chicken pox, I would have just been aware that she was contagious, there is of course nothing you can do about them. So now Bella has had the measles and chicken pox. Mike said he sure hopes it's not rubella that is next!
